Mrs. Eva Mae Rhames was born on December 25,1929 in Orangeburg, SC to the late Willie and Annie Odom. She passed away on September 30, 2020 after a brief illness at The Oaks of Orangeburg SC.
Eva attended George Washington Carver High School and was employed as a nursing assistant at Edisto Nursing Home and Rush’s nursing for a number of years. Eva joined Mt. Zion church at an early age.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Annie Odom, brothers: June Odom and Curtis Cleckley; sisters: Willie Mae Hubbard, Moezell Darby and Hattie Odom; two sons: Danny and David Jenkins and one grandson, Carlis Rhames.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories one brother, Jimmy Odom; three daughters: Shirley (Byron) Miller, Elorise (George) Willis, and Ethel Thomas of Orangeburg SC; four sons: James Jenkins of Gran-iteville SC, Jimmy Jenkins, Vincent Jenkins, and William Jenkins all of Orangeburg SC; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to Mrs. Cynthia Riley (CNA) that went above and beyond in caring for her. Also, a special thanks to her daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Jimmy, for taking special care of their mother. Thanks to the Pace center and their staff and the staff and workers at The Oaks, a host of devoted grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The viewing will be held on Monday,October 5,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home at 4:30pm until 7:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday,October 6,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 1:00pm.
