Mrs. Ethel M. Flanary was born on November 28, 1945 in Middlesboro, KY. She was the daughter of the late Lily Pauline Taylor Banks and Herbert Franklin Banks. She departed her life on March 26, 2022.
She attended Lincoln High School of Middlesboro, KY. She was a homemaker.
Ethel was proceded in death by her husband, Mr. Flanary; her parents, Lily and Herbert Frank Banks and two sisters, Cynthia Banks and Tywanna Banks.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters: Myrtle Buis of Tazewell, TN; Annetta (Alphonso) Reese of Detriot, MI; Patricia Washington of Middlesboro, KY and Twana Caffey of Orangeburg, SC, one beloved son: Elmer Flanary of Lexington, SC; a special friend: Sterling Gordon; three sisters: Angela Walton, Theresa Pope, and Connie Walton all of Louisville, KY; four brothers: Carlos Banks, Scotty Lydell Banks, Franklin Banks, and George Banks; grandchildren: Brian Flanary, Heather Flanary, Shaquia (Oscar) Salazar, Jennifer (Carlos) Lopez, Anthony (Amanda) Flanary, Brandy Flanary, Tanika Kyle, Tiffany(Sebstian) "Barclay" Johnson, Veronica (Matthew) Hounshel, Timothy Dwayne Ison, Andorica (Lamar) Hester, Brookly (Trever) Bradley, Willie Flanary, Pordnijah (Chance) Davis, and Brittany Caffey; one special nephew: William Donyell Flanary; one special sister-friend: Francis Rodgers and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends that will miss her dearly.
The service will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be held on Thursday, March 31,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Friday, April 1,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 2:00pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
