Emmy Perryman

Mrs. Emmy Perryman, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie (Lether) Hanyes, was born April 13, 1952 in Orangeburg County. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Eddie B. Perryman. Emmy entered into eternal rest on Friday July 3, 2020 at Orangeburg Regional Medical Center. She peacefully closed her eyes when the Lord called her from labor to reward. 

Emmy was baptized and was a faithful member of St. Paul Baptist Church, where she served as a member of the Usher Board. 

Emmy was a 1971 graduate of Orangeburg Wilkinson High School. Upon graduation she attended Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College. She became employed at Husqvarna and served as a Team Leader. After 20+ years, she retired. She was a devoted mother to her children, a very loving grand-mother and loyal friend. 

Emmy was preceded in death by her daughter: Yvonne M. Perryman; three brothers: Hercules, Samuel, and Thomas Haynes; two sisters: Lether Mae Jones and Pearline Hallman. 

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her five children: Porsche L. Gaffney, Evelyn T. Mack, Laquetta Y. Perryman, of the home, Yvette (Anthony) Brown and Marcus (Theresa) Mack all of Orangeburg SC. one brother: Willie (Barbara) Haynes of Charlotte NC; a brother-in-law: Joshua Hallman of Orangeburg SC; six beautiful grandchildren: Lorenzo Riley, Tyreek Mack, Justin and Jayden Brown and Jabari and E’Mani Gaffney all of Orangeburg SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Friday, July 10,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home at 2:00pm-7:00pm. 

A graveside will be held on Saturday, July 11,2020 at Belleville Memorial Gardens beginning at 11:00am.
