Eartha Idella Wiggins-Eisom

And God shall wipe all tears away from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Mrs. Eartha Idella Wiggins-Eisom, was born on July 29, 1943 in Bamberg SC. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Dewey Wiggins and Mrs. Estelle George-Wiggins. 

She attended the public schools of Bamberg County where she learned to sew by machine and by hand. Her love of sewing enabled her to work in several sewing rooms. She shared her love with her family by making various items for them. 

At the age of 22, she met and married Mr. Nathaniel Eisom Sr. of Branchville, SC. This union would produce two children. As a resident of Branchville, she joined Mays Chapel United Methodist Church. There, she was a member of the Senior choir, hospitality committee, and The United Methodist Women. 

On Christmas Eve, Mrs. Idella heeded the call of her Heavenly Father with her daughter by her side at The Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg, SC. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings; Mr. George Wiggins, Mrs. Shirley Wiggins-Mack, and Mrs. Eartha Lee Wiggins-Coppedge. 

Those that she leaves priceless memories to are her children and caregivers: Ms. Cynthia Eisom, of the home and Mr. Nathaniel Eisom Jr. of Branchville, SC; brother: Mr. Frank (Mary) Moody of Denmark, SC; sisters-in-law: Mrs. Shirley Eisom of Branch-ville, SC; Mrs. Maggie Wiggins of Columbia, SC and Mrs. Nettie Wiggins of Kissimmee, FL; granchildren in which she shared a very special bond are Mrs. Alexis (Jakeem) Williford of North Augusta, SC; Natalia Eisom of St. Matthews, SC; Malique Eisom of Greensboro, NC; Aaron Eisom of St. Matthews, SC; and Geromon Robinson Jr. of Orangeburg, SC; 5 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends that will dearly miss her sweet and humble spirit. 

To many, Mrs. Idella will be remembered as the sweetest lady they ever met. 

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Sunday, January 3,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home at 2:00pm until 7:00pm. 

The funeral will be held on Monday, January 4,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 12:00pm.
