On March 4, 2008, Diaquice, lovingly known as “Dee” was born to Keona Monroe and Dominique Washington in Orangeburg, SC.
Dee attended Howard Middle School in Orangeburg County Schools where he enjoyed his peers. He was an enthusiastic football player.
Dee only put himself first when he felt the need to protect his mom and sisters. Dee deeply loved his family. He was also well loved by his entire extended family. Dee owned a smile and aura that was infectious to anyone he came in contact with. He was kind, protective, supportive and a prince to his four sisters.
Dee leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Keona Monroe; father, Dominique Washington; step-father; Garrien Sawyer (Gee); sisters, Diamond, Sarinity, Miracle, Cherish (Dakhia Washington) (Damiyah Washington); brothers, Teshawn Dash and (Jayden Brand); grandmothers, Crystal Robinson, Antoinette Johnson, G. G. Shirley Monroe, Betty Knotts; grandfather; Tony Shuler, G.G. Anthony Monroe; aunts, Jasmine (Brittany) Hardy, Jacinda Robinson, Brittney Washington; uncles, Christopher Robinson, Jr., Xzavier Washington, De’Angelo Mays; two close cousins, Jamarion and Reggie; a number of cousins, great aunts and uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The service will proceed as follows:
The viewing will held on Friday, March 18,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 19,2022 at New mt. Zion Baptist Church 1785 Amelia St. Orangeburg, SC 29115 beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
