Diane Zimmerman of 211 Leg Lane Cordova, South Carolina, was born June 26, 1952, to the late Lucius Zimmerman and Ruby Lee Jamison Zimmerman. She peacefully departed this earthly life early Tuesday morning, April 7th, 2026, after a lengthy illness.
Diane was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County.
She enjoyed watching television, especially classic western movies and old television shows. She also had a deep love for music.
Diane embraced many cherished roles throughout her life. She was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, caring sister, aunt, and loyal friend. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and presence.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: one daughter, Ruby Lee Zimmerman of Orangeburg, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Brandon Zimmerman, Jasmine Brown of Columbia, South Carolina and Latoya Brown of Orangeburg, SC; five great grandchildren: Ka’John Davis, Kim’Bella Corbit, Kayce Brown, Dream Chaney, and Kairo Zimmerman, all of Orangeburg, SC; four sisters: Shirley Felder of Cordova, SC, Elaine Goven, Gloria McDonald, of Orangeburg, SC, Wilhelmenia Hughes of Cordova, SC; and one brother Larry (Barbara) Zimmerman of St. Matthews, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends that will miss her dearly.
Though she has departed from our sight, Diane’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
Funeral arrangements are as followed :
The viewing will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm
The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am.
