Diane Brown was born on January 1, 1959 to Ms. Jessie Clay Brown and the late David Brown in Newark, New Jersey.
She attended the Public Schools in Newark, New Jersey.
She was a foster parent for many years.Diane worked for the Newark Board of Education as a food service worker. Everyone loved her good food.
She relocated in South Carolina in 1995. Shortly afterwards she joined Macedonia Baptist Church where she was a member of The Missionary Society. She often participated on the bible study, prayerline, and missionary lessons. Her hobbies was getting on the computer and playing games.
On August 4, 2018 she married Mr. John Jones.
She was proceeded in death by her father, David L. Brown.
She leaves to cherish fond memories to her husband: Mr. John Jones of the home, her daughter Tanisha (James) Stroud, one son David Brown both of Orangeburg, South Carolina; her mother Ms. Jessie Clay Brown, Newark New Jersey; two sisters Patricia Pairol, Columbia, SC; Noelle Davis of Holly Hill, SC; one brother David Louis Brown of Social Circle, Georgia. Her pride and joy her six grandchildren : Dwight Brown, Summerville, South Carolina; Alexis Stroud, Newport News Virginia; Tatyana Stroud, Jazmine Stroud, Shainah Brown all of Orangeburg, South Carolina, and Nicole Brown of Columbia, South Carolina. One god daughter Tammie Simon, of Greenwood, South Carolina;, One special friend Bertha Ann James of Orangeburg, South Carolina; one brother Kasa (Margaret) Jones of Brooklyn, New York, and two sisters law :Harriett Harrison of East Orange, New Jersey, and Lorraine Anderson of Orangeburg, South Carolina a host of step children, great grands, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The service will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be held on Saturday, April 22.2023 at Glover's Funeral Home from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Sunday, April 23,2023 at Macedonia Baptist Church 1065 Sprinkle Ave. Orangeburg, SC 29115 beginning at 3:00pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
