Diane Elaine Bethea Obituary

Ms. Diane Elaine Bethea was born on February 8, 1957 in Jacksonville, Florida. She is the daughter of the late Ethel Lee Glover Bethea.
Diane was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County and graduated from Branchville High school.
Diane loved spending time with her nieces and nephews whom she loved and treated as if they were her own children.
Diane had a joyous personality and a helpful spir-it. She had an infectious smile which will be forever etched in our minds and so many others.
Diane also enjoyed looking at Soap operas, espe-cially “The Young and the Restless:, and was a wiz at Crossword Puzzles.
Diane was proceeded in death by her mother, the late Ethel Lee Glover Bethea; sister, Mary Lee Bethea; brothers, Johnny Bethea and Donald Bethea; nephews, Reggie Bethea and Spencer Bethea.
Diane is survived by her brother, Ronald (Patricia) Bethea; sister, Linda (Lester) Phillips, one uncle, Vernon Glover; one aunt, Elizabeth Harrison of Detroit, Michigan, and a host of loving nieces, neph-ews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.


The service will proceed as follows:


The viewing will be held on Monday, August 23,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home from 2:00pm until 7:00pm.


A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 24,2021 at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery 619 Dorange Rd. Branchville,SC 29432 beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
