Delores Bruce, the daughter of Paul Funchess Jenkins and Flossie Syphrett Jenkins was born July 8th, 1941, in Reevesville, South Carolina. Delores was one of twelve children. She completed her journey on August 19th, 2024, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Bruce was a homemaker and farmer's wife at heart. She received her education in the public schools of Orangeburg and Dorchester counties.
Delores was the widow of Leroy Israel Bruce. To this union one daughter was born.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter and son-in-law Clary Lee (Shellie) Robinson of Rowesville, South Carolina; two sisters Nora Harrison and Betty Bolton both of Titusville, FL. Four sisters in law: Hazel Farrell, Troy NY, Martha Kennedy, Atlanta GA, Alma Scales El, Jersey City, NJ and Amanda Jenkins, St. George SC. One brother-in-law Uston Lemon, Titusville FL. Special daughters and grandchildren who were a great part of her heart. Nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

The viewing will be held on Monday, August 26,2024 at Glover's Funeral Home from 2:00pm-6:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 27,2024 at New Covenant United Methodist Church beginning at 11:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
