Darlene Laquarn Thomas, the daughter of Freddie Thomas Sr. and the late Janet Thomas was born October 31, 1971, in Orangeburg, SC.  She entered into eternal rest at the age of 51 on December 10, 2022, at the Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg, SC.

A graduate of Edisto High School class of 1989. She continued her education at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, graduating with honors becoming an Administrative Specialist.  She worked at the college for 28 years until her health failed. 

She was also a proud owner of her business Darly’s Pencil that she started September 21, 2020., Notary Public for the State of South Carolina, and she enjoyed crafting.  She had a beautiful spirit, big heart, and a beautiful smile.  There was nothing she wouldn’t do for anyone if she could help a person she would. She was the kindest person you could have ever known.  

She leaves to cherish her memories; her loving son Casey (Ashawrae) Thomas. Siblings; Drella and Freddie (Jennifer) Thomas. Uncles; Edward (Bonnie) Thomas, NT (Jeanette) Thomas, and Johnny Thomas. Godson; Ahmad Carter. Special Sisters/Friends; Elizabeth Rivers, Jennifer Henderson, Tabatha Williams, Marilyn Pickering, & Jessica Dupree.  Special Brothers/Cousins; David (Jennifer) Henderson, Christopher (Stephanie) Grant. The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Thursday, December 15,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Friday, December 16,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 2:00pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
