Cleveland was born in Washington DC and raised in Orangeburg SC by his loving mother Peggie Stroman.
Cleveland received his GED from the State of South Carolina after which he went on to complete his Associate Degree in Psychology from OC-TECH. He continued his education at Claflin University and was working to complete his Bachelor’s Degree. He served his country in the United States Army, after his service he worked for SC State University and lastly Husqvarna as a forklift driver.
Cleveland had a strong faith base built as a young child up until he became a young adult from Greater Faith Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cleveland J. Sanders.
Cleveland will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Peggie Stroman of the home, three sisters Yolanda Sanders (Atlanta GA), Wendy Jenkins (Pittsburg PA), Lorraine Lawton (Orangeburg SC) in addition to three nephews and four nieces. He fondly leaves one great-niece (Amara Reid) and a great- nephew (Se’Khani Sanders), that will miss him dearly.
The service will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be held on Friday, March 5,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home at 1:00pm until 7:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 6,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 12:00pm. All those attending the service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations. Services will be streamed live on our Facebook Page Glover's Funeral Home of Orangeburg.
