Reflection of Life
Blanche Elizabeth Williams-Simpson, was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Levi Williams and the late Thelma S. Williams. She is honored a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Blanche attended the public school of Orangeburg. She attended Nursing School in New York, graduated and became a pediatric nurse.
She was member of Bridge Street African Methodist Episcopal Church in Brooklyn, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Claydean Heyward and Pauline Frazier.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: one daughter Willie (Candee`) Simpson-Sanders of New York; two sons Willie James (Barbara) Simpson of Memphis, Tennessee and Jeffery Fitzgerald (Michele) Simpson of Worchester, Massachusetts; two grandsons: Ryan Matthews (Brittany) Sanders of Queens, New York and Jeffery Fitzgerald Simpson, Jr of New York; one great-grandson Nero of New York, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sister-in-love Ethel B. Moseley.
Services for Mrs. Blanche E. Simpson will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be Friday, May 26, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Glover’s Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 2:30 PM at the Glover’s Funeral Home Chapel.
Staff and all those attending must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
Friends may call at Glover’s Funeral Home. The family will receive limited guest due to COVID-19.
