Billy Ray Kiah

BILLY RAY KIAH, 62, of 115 Terry Street, Cordova, South Carolina passed away on 11 November 2022. Billy was born in Scotland Neck, North Carolina to Mary Kiah on 25 April 1960. Billy was united in marriage to Belinda M. Gamble on 17 November 2000 in Virginia Beach,Virginia.
Billy graduated from Eastside High School in Patterson, New Jersey. In 1979 he graduated from the American Business Institute and received his Certification in Computer Processing in 1983. Billy was a veteran service member, serving in both; the United States Army as a Telecommunication Specialist and the United States Marine Corps as a Motor Transport Specialist. Billy served 12 years in security at Passaic County Detention Center, Patterson, N.J.; American Security and the Public Sector. He was employed by the United States Postal Service where he served for six years. Billy was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. He epitomized God’s love through his Gift; the Gift of giving. Billy’s ability to give without condition allowed the light and love of God to radiate through him. His gift will long be remembered by the many of us who were recipients.
Billy is preceded in death by one brother, Dion Kiah.
Billy is survived by his loving wife, Belinda M. Kiah, of the home, one son, Nathanael Kiah; his mother Mary Kiah; brother, Derrick Kiah (D.K.); and two granddaughters, Teresina Hickerson and Philomena Hickerson; two aunts,two uncles, one niece, two nephews, two great-nieces and 2 great-nephews.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Thursday, November 17,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home from 2:00pm until 7:00pm.

The funeral will be held on Friday, November 18,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 9:00am. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
