Audrey Renee Funderburk

On Wednesday morning, April 28, 2021, the Angels came and carried Audrey to her heavenly home.
She was born on June 14, 1965, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Mr. Walter L. and Mrs. Sara M. Funderburk.
She was a member of St. Luke Presbyterian Church, where she was a faithful member and had a great love and knowledge of God. She participated in church activities and loved music. Her early education was in the Orangeburg School System graduating from Orangeburg Wilkinson High School (OW).
Audrey Renee Funderburk leaves to cherish her fond memories, her mother, Sara Funderburk; a nephew, Walter Alexander Funderburk of Seattle Washington; aunt and uncle: William S. (Jan) McDuffie, Sr. of Atlanta Georgia; very special cousins: William S. (Dawn) McDuffie, Jr., of NJ, Ruth Mareia Williams of NC, and Lee (Crystal) McDuffie of GA; cousins: William S. McDuffie, III of NJ, and Destin and Chaz Williams of NC. Extended family members are, Jean Kitt, Leonard Rivers, Shirley Autry and Patricia Patterson. Very special and close friends: Jerry Davis, Jr. and Miesha Johnson.
Audrey Renee was a star with a bright light of her won that shined brightly wherever she went. She loved people and enjoyed everything she participated in. She was a faithful member of the Orangeburg Disabilities Board Work Center and enjoyed going to work each day. Her hobbies were dancing and listening to music and television. She also loved playing games on her computer and tablet and was very good at word puzzles.
The family wants to thank the workers at the Orangeburg Disabilities Center. Daily they provided a caring atmosphere for Audrey.
A special thanks to a very special group of DELTA girls for loving her and including her in some of their activities. She love you all.
Twenty-four hours prior to Audrey’s transition, two special friends, Tara D. Rivers and Adriane Carson-Johnson, gave Audrey her last party.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Monday, May 3,2021 at Glover's Funeral Home at 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 4,2021 at Belleville Memorial Gardens beginning at 2:00pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
