Mr. Anthony Tyrone Williams son of the late Reverend Samuel E. Williams, Jr. and Clary M. Williams was born on September 1, 1963 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2022 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
He was a humble, loving, kind-spirited, and hard-working man who was well-liked by everyone who knew him. His love for his family and friends were undeniably obvious with his willingness to help those in need, without hesitation. Not a man of many words, but his infectious smile and laugh spoke volumes of his character.
Anthony was educated in Orangeburg County Public Schools and was a certified Automotive Paint and Body Shop Repairman. He worked at Horne Motors in Orangeburg, SC for 20 years and was currently employed at Best Auto Sales in North, SC.
At an early age, Anthony joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, in Orangeburg, SC and was a faithful member who avidly loved gospel music.
He was joined in holy matrimony to Angela Greene Williams on June 13, 1992.
Anthony was preceded in death by two sisters: Cynthia Williams Riley and Diane Williams.
He leaves to mourn and cherish fond memories a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Angela Greene Williams, a daughter, Ms. Andreal Tianna Williams of the home, a son, Mr. Antron Tyrane Williams of Rowesville, SC; one sister, Mrs. Cynthia E. (Calvin) Green of Orangeburg, SC, three brothers; Mr. Willie Edward (Valarie Frison) Williams of New Jersey, Mr. Samuel (Sylvia) Williams, III of Orangeburg, SC, and Mr. Troy Flood of Columbia, SC; his mother-n-law Ms. Rosa N. Henry of Columbia, SC; his father-in-law Mr. Sammie Greene, one sister-in-law Ms. Samantha Ewers, one brother-in-law Mr. Rick Greene, all of Baltimore, MD, three aunts; Mrs. Milestone Cooper of Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Albertha Workman, of Columbia, MD, and Mrs. Bernice Williams of Bowie, MD, Mrs. Lizzie Williams of Orangeburg, SC, two uncles; Mr. Joshua Williams of Orangeburg, SC; Mr. Daniel (Patricia) Williams of Lone Star, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
The service will proceed as follows:
The viewing will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Glover's Funeral Home from 2:00pm until 7:00pm.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 8,2022 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 1:00pm. All those attending service must wear a mask and adhere to all COVID-19 rules and regulations.
