Anthony Lockhart

Anthony Lockhart passed away peacefully from this world as he lived it on May 19, 2020 at Prisma Health Patewood Hospital. Born on January 24, 1964 to the late Charles Lockhart and the late Evelyn Mayo-Lockhart. Anthony attended Orangeburg County Public Schools, and graduated with the Orangeburg Wilkinson Class of 82. Anthony was known for street racing, talking plenty of trash, lending a helping hand, and his favorite saying was “who loves ya baby”. 

At an early age, Anthony became employed by Lockhart Roofing Company, which was owned and operated by his deceased father the late Charles (Charlie) Lockhart. Early in life Anthony attended and later joined Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Orangeburg, SC. 

He leaves behind his beloved wife Veronica Wright-Lockhart; two sons, Jacobia Hughes of Charlotte, NC, Warren Hughes of Orangeburg, SC; four daughters, Antwanette of the home & Autumn Lockhart of Jacksonville, FL, Shatina Wright, and Brittany Snell of St Matthews, SC. Anthony also leaves behind eight grandchildren, one sister, Jacqueline M Benjamin, one brother, Demetri Lockhart, his favorite niece Ebony Benjamin and host of other nieces and nephews.

The service will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held Monday,May 25,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home at 12:00pm until 5:00pm.

The funeral service will be Tuesday,May 26,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am.
