Roberta "Bert" Shuler

Ms. Roberta “Bert” Shuler was born May 19, 1942 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.  She is the daughter of the late Romie Shuler and Ora Lee Britt Shuler. Bert entered into eternal rest on February 7, 2019.

Bert was educated at Bethune Memorial School in Bowman, SC and was known to many in the community.  She was dearly loved by family and friends. Bert enjoyed having quiet times, working alongside family members in the vegetable garden, and spending time outside.

Her parents, Romie and Ora Shuler, and brothers, Charlie, Tommy, Bruce, Romie, Jr., Bobby and Billy, preceded her in death.

Those who celebrate Bert’s life and cherish precious memories are her sister, Mary (Nathaniel) Dash; brothers: Ronnie (Lauraine) Shuler, Larry (Alice) Shuler, and Antonia (Carolyn) Shuler; two sisters-in-law: Rose Shuler and Barbara Ann Shuler; a devoted uncle and an aunt, Lawrence and Birdie Berry; twenty-four nieces and nephews; and a host of great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss her.

Services will be held as follows:

The viewing will take place at Glover's Funeral Home on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm..

The service will be held at Glover's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 am.
