Mr. Leroy “Big Roy” Jeffcoat Sr. was born in Orangeburg County, South Carolina on August 1, 1948 to the late Jeremiah Jeffcoat and Lorrine Dewberry Jeffcoat. Mr. Jeffcoat was preceded in death by a son Richard Lee Jeffcoat, 3 brothers and a sister.
Mr. Jeffcoat was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in Orangeburg Public School.
Early on in life in Mr. Jeffcoat also know as “Big Roy” took on a career in Logging Industry where he worked for more than 40 plus years as an in-loader operator for Backwood logging Company and Dempsey Wood until he retired.
Leroy was united in Holy Matrimony to Virginia Jeffcoat. He leave to cherish fond memories his loving and devoted wife Virgina Jeffcoat of the home. 5 daughters Jonetta (Quamaine) Johnson of Orangeburg, SC. Patricia Bradley of Orangeburg, SC, Kimberly Bradley, Natasha Bradley of ORangeburg, SC. 3 sons Leroy Jeffcoat Jr. of Orangebirg, SC. Marvin Jeffcoat of Orangeburg, SC, Lorenzo Bradley of Willspoint, Texas. 1 sister Julia Mae Wallet of Cordova, sC. 1 brother and sister-in-law John (Angie) Jeffcoat of Orangeburg, SC. 1 brother-in-law Major Bradley, 1 sister-in-law Jacqueline Bradley both of OOrangeburg, SC. 2 grandchildren raised in the home Tashawn Bradley and Shyheim Bradley. 21 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
