Kavontea Devon Shuler

Kavontea Devon Shuler was given to us by God on February 5, 2011 in Orangeburg, SC. He departed this life on December 8, 2018. He is the loving child of Laquisha Tameka Miller and Antonio Drake McDaniel.

Kavontea was a Honor Student at Sheridan Elementary School. At an early age Kavontea accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and Lord. We rejoice in knowing that Kavontea loved the Lord. He served faithfully as an active member of the Hillcrest Bills Wearing #3. Kavontea scored the 2nd highest in the 2nd grade on the Pack Test at Sheridan Elementary School. He enjoyed playing football, wrestling, singing and school. Kavontea held a special place in his heart for his siblings. He was truly a shiny beacon of light that will forever illuminate in out hearts.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his siblings; Kesharrow Miller, Kyliah Shuler, Kylijahnea Shuler, Kollins Shuler, Karizmah Shuler, Kyzarie Shuler, Egypt Green and Laila McDaniel all of Orangeburg, SC and Antonia McDaniel of Columbia, SC.

Grandparents Dororthy & Ronald Paulin, Mary Everett & Michael McDaniel, great-grandmother, the late Louise Fogle and Dorothy Rivers of New York. Aunts; Dorothy Miller-Gregg, Falaravia Campbell, Toni McDanel all of Orangeburg and Nikki McDaniel of Charleston, SC and a host of additional aunts. Uncle Avery McDaniel of Columbia, SC. One uncle preceded in death Ikeba Shanard Miller and a host of additional uncles.

Kavontea's life was filled with a village that loved him dearly, we thank you for your love and support: Demetrius Green, Maricia McDaniel (grandmother/tutor), Demetrius Wolf, Lebra Govan, three God-sisters: Kimami, Kemiah and Shcamonzlnea Govan, and a host of cousins, friends and teachers.
