Joshua Santana James

Mr. Joshua Santana James, was the son of Jacqueline James Garrett and the late Jerry Garrett. He was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina on November 29, 1982. Mr. James was called to eternal rest on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 after a tragic death.
Mr. James was a 2001 graduate of Orangeburg Wilkinson High School. He was a former employee of Husqvarna in Orangeburg, SC.
Mr. James was preceded in death by his loving father: Mr. Jerry Garrett; grandmother: Mrs. Viola Garrett; grand- father: Mr. Hercules James, Sr.; and uncles: Mr. Dennis Garrett, Mr. Hercules James, Jr., and Mr. Robert James.
Survivors include his loving mother: Mrs. Jacqueline James Garrett and his grandmother Mrs. Thelma James both of the home; two daughters: Ja’Niya Jones and Eriel Jones of Orangeburg, SC; three sisters: Jerri Necole Gar- rett, Chiquita James and Kayla Garrett (Maurice) all of Orangeburg, SC; four brothers: Jerry Jerome (Vicki) James, Michael (Ashley) James, Antonio Garrett and Andrew Garrett all of Orangeburg, SC; two aunts: Gloria (Jonathan) Lott and Sammae Thompson of Orangeburg, SC; two uncles: Michael (Alicia) James of Vicenza, Italy and Charles (Gloria) Garrett of Orangeburg, SC; one niece: Royalty James of Orangeburg, SC; nine nephews: Das- haun Hampton, Jaleel James, Desi Miller, Jered James, Aiden McMillan, Kentez Curry, Kelechie Curry and MarKavien Keitt all of Orangeburg, SC; special cousins: Dr. De’Brenna (Agbeko) Agbenyiga, Katina James, Chris- topher James, Michael James, Jr., Drayl James, Shamaya James, Haily James and Nathaniel Thompson; life long friends: Philip Wilson, Derek Corley, Lauoi Wannamak- er and Gamuel Mays all of Orangeburg, SC and a host of other dear family and friends.

The service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Glover’s Funeral Home beginning at 1:00pm
