Mr. John (Johnny) Francis Bethea was born in Bronx, New York to the late Mr. John William Bethea and the late Mrs. Ethel Lee Glover Bethea. He was the olddest of six children. Two preceded him in death; sister, Mary Lee Bethea and brother Donald Bethea.
He was educated in the public schools of Branchville,South Carolina. He was a faithful member of Canaan Baptist Church where he served as a trustee and choir member. He was employed by Amblers Industries and Cox Lumber Mill until his health failed.
John(Johnny) Francis Bethea leaves to cherish the memories of his life; brother, Ronald(Patricia)Bethea of Branchville, sister, Linda(Lester) Phillips of Columbia and sister Diane E. Bethea of Orangeburg. Stepson, Bruce Douglas, one uncle, Vernon Glover of Detroit,Michigan, one aunt Elizabeth Harrison of Detroit,Michigan and three step grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The service proceed as follows:
The viewing will be held on Saturday,January 11,2020 at Glover's Funeral Home at 3:30p.m. until 8:00p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday,January 12,2020 at Canaan Baptist Church 619 Dorange Rd Branchville,SC 29432 beginning at 1:30p.m.
