Jannette Lee

Ms. Jannetta Lee, daughter of the late Nathaniel and Gladys Franklin Lee, was born on January 10, 1967. She departed this life on May 9, 2019 after an extended illness.

Jannetta was educated in the Orangeburg County Public School System. She left home and relocated to New York where she pursued her dream career in cosmetology. She returned to Orangeburg, South Carolina and later became employed at Sara Lee Bakery, where she worked tirelessly for many years until she became ill.

Jannetta was preceded in death by her parents: Nathaniel and Gladys Franklin Lee and one brother: Ernest Nathaniel Lee.

Jannetta leaves to cherish fond memories her eight children: Ernest Lee, Keira Lee, Asia M. (Jonathan) Lee-Busby, LouKendrick Lee, Sequoya Dashonn Lee, Dequoya Keshonn Lee, Quanesha Latrae Lee and Cadesia Lee; six siblings: Eva Franklin (Willie) Govan, Brenda Lee (Sammie Lee) Moseley, Donnell (Menia) Lee, Myron Sebastian (Jennifer) Lee, Julia Haigler and James Haigler; twelve grandchildren: KeAsia, Kyliek, Zyaria, Elijah, Tishawn, K’shawn, Na’Via, Emonddra, Ai’Jon, Sa’Riya, Kaylynn and Louis; five uncles and three aunts; a special nephew: Tyriq Lee; God-sister: Mary Simmons Washington and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will proceed as follows:

The viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Glover's Funeral Home from 12:00pm until 8:00pm.

The service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 2:00pm.
