James was born September 24, 1967 in Washington, D.C. James educational journey took him through the Bowman district schools, Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College as well as Cecil College in North Carolina.

James is survived by a sister, Alfreda Kennedy Glover of New Jersey; a brother Donald Kennedy of Bowman, SC; two nieces, LaQuinta Glover of St. George, SC', Donasha Wodington of New Jersey; an aunt, Jessie Myers of Columbia, SC. Two grandchildren, Gladys Mitchell and Georgia Kelley of Washington, DC; a faithful cousin, Minnie Myers of Bowman, SC; a faithful friend, Hubery Washington of New Jersey as well as other loving family members and friends.
