Beverly Ann James

Beverly Ann James, the daughter of the late Daniel Middleton Sr. and Gloria Ritter Middleton, was born September 22, 1955 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. on July 17, 2019 she entered eternal rest at the home surrounded by her beloved family.
Beverly grew up in Orangeburg, South Carolina and graduated from Wilkinson High School, where she was a member of Who's Who of America, and attained scholarships in mathematics. She was employed at Millers Restaurant and Bucks Grocery, for many years she was a very good cook. Beverly was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She was compassionate, funny and loving to everyone she met and was loved by many. She enjoyed spending time with family and listening to music.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. James of 45 years, her father Daniel Middleton Sr., mother Gloria Ritter Middleton, sister Althair Middleton and mother-in-law Emily James.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories: five sisters, Carolina M. Brown, Ernestine Middleton, Audrey (Dominic) Glover and Pytronia (Nathaniel) Robinson all of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Abigail Denny of Yonkers, New York and Deidra (Shawn) Mack of Charlotte, North Carolina; four brothers, Daniel (Geneva) Middleton of Huntersville, North Carolina, Reginald (Diane) Middleton, Tony (Diane) Middleton and Foster Middleton, all of Orangeburg, South Carolina, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and two special friends near and dear to her heart Valentina Smith and Solomon Herbert.
 

Services will proceed as follow:

The viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Glover’s Funeral Home from 12:00pm until 8:00pm. 

The service will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Glover’s Funeral home beginning at 2:00pm.
