Bernard Kelly

Mr. Bernard James Kelly was born June 5, 1957 in Bowman, SC. He was the son on the late Dora Mae Kelly Oliver and Clemmie Oliver.

Bernard spent most of his life in Newark, NJ where he went t o Warren St. School and later moved to Myrtle Beach SC. where he worked for many years in Carpentry, Masonry, and Construction. Afterwards he moved back to reside in Bowman, SC to live out his life.

Bernard affiliated himself with membership at St. Michael Methodist Church at an early age, and his older age he attended Solid Rock Outreach Ministries of Holly Hill, SC. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family whom he loved dearly.

He departed this life Wednesday evening, April 17, 2019 while at TRMC Hospital of Orangeburg, SC following a brief illness.

Bernard leaves to cherish loving and endearing memories: Wife Donna Kelly of Orangeburg, SC, five loving sisters; Starlene(Tom) Currin, of Newark, NJ, Tracey Jones of Rockhill, SC., Shelia Coleman-Glass of New Castle, Delaware, Milred(Reddick) Richardson of Bowman, SC., and Beverly(Ike) Williams of Charlotte, NC., One brother Odis Kelly of Orange Park, Florida, a very Special Niece Haseezah W. Blakely of Bowman, SC, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friend.   

The service will proceed as follows:

The memorial service will be held at Glover's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 beginning at 1:00pm.
