Mrs. Barbara Ann Woods-Haynes also known as “Dootney,”was born on October 30, 1948 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Sadie Davis Woods. She departed this earthly life on December 27, 2018. Mrs. Haynes was a 1967 graduate of Wilkinson High School. She retired from Uni Health Pruitt (formerly Orangeburg Nursing Home) after 30 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, whom she loved and adored, Mr. Wilson Billy Haynes, Sr.; her son: Wilson Billy Haynes, Jr.; a sister: Mary Lou Woods and a brother: Robert Woods, Sr.
She leaves to mourn her precious memories her daughter: Terry Lynn Haynes of the home; two granddaughters: Candice Nicole Haynes and Asia Latifa Haynes both of Orangeburg, South Carolina; one daughter-in-law: Priscilla Haynes; four sisters-in-law: Lois Haynes, Rose Marie (Leroy) Jenkins and Lurethia Haynes all of Orangeburg, South Carolina, and Dorothy Mae Haynes of Baltimore, MD; one brother-in-law: Charles Haynes of Utica, New York and a host of other relatives and friends.
